Spiritual-Cultural Practitioner

Spiritual cultural engagement has been a extensive part of my adult life. My area of focus is on the synthesis, restoration and practice of spiritual-cultural engagement at a level that is readily accessible and  applicable to the Afrikan world community. This is an undertaking in the spirit of harmonising oneness whatever the geographical location and whatever specific faith tradition souls may or may not already have. In this regard I am the developer of the spiritual formulation of Afrikan Spirituality By Way Of Kwanzaa (ASBWOK).  Over the years I have conducted a plethora of ceremonies: Naming, Passing Over and so on; led large community celebratory ceremonies; delivered coaching and designed and delivered learning programmes such as Africentricity & Divinity.

My design and delivery of independent Afrikan-centred community education has been an progressive journey of more than 15 years. This includes comprehensive learning programmes such as Afrikan World Studies, short programmes and workshops on Afrikan history and other aspects of the Afrikan world experience.

For more than 20 years I have been the author of a variety of publications on various aspects of the Afrikan experience. Beginning with concise booklet material and stand-alone articles, this has developed into published books such as: From Ajar to Omowale-the Spiritual & Garveyite Journey of Malcolm X and From Musa to Afrikan Fundamentalism - The Afrikan Spiritual Essence of Marcus Garvey amongst others, as well as the online publication the wakeupcallonline.

Born and grounded as a child in the thrust of cultural activism and the mission for liberty, my commitment for ascension continued, developed and culminated with my establishment the Universal Royal Afrikan Nation. In the same light, I have shaped the establishment of Yemanja-O into an empowering centre for community learning and development.

Musician

Music has been an important feature of my entire life. It is an intrinsic part of my spiritual-cultural practice and is a mainstay feature in ceremonial activity. Over the years there have been a number of recordings made which includes the compilation Journey of Kua (Growth).
